In 2012 Hoffman developed a relationship with Alpha councilman Lou Cartabona. The two publicly show support for each other.
We're receiving complaints from locals who find it incredibly unethical that Cartabona encourages Hoffman, who is known to blog and tweet depreciatory statements about residents.
